I'm Michelle Downer, an ACSM certified Exercise Physiologist with over 20 years of experience in health and wellness in Seattle. I have been involved in all aspects of fitness. My background includes: post rehabilitation, triathlon coaching, teaching group exercise, strength and functional training and Baby Boomer fitness. I understand the motivation, guidance and support necessary for consistency and success.
I offer a personalized coaching and training experience that is not available at any gym. My many years of experience and education ensure your fitness program is unique, fun and effective. I also hold a degree in Psychology from the University of Washington.
I have been a world traveler, including bicycling in Southeast Asia and Africa, a hiker, an avid trail runner, a triathlete and a snowboarder. I enjoy yoga, strength training, walking with my dog, reading, the arts, having coffee with friends and spending time with my goddaughter.

Whether you want to focus on strengthening your core or learn how to exercise with arthritis, I will design a fitness routine that will work for you. I will provide supportive, one-on-one training that aims to improve the quality of your life.
